Director of Finance and Operations

Your Mission:

Samasource is seeking an experienced financial and operations director to oversee the financial and strategic planning of the global organization, manage daily business operations for the company, and provide sales and donor operations support in an addition to overseeing ad-hoc strategic and operational projects.

Your Responsibilities:

  • Reporting to the CFO, and working closely with the Global Controller in San Francisco and our international Finance Directors, your role will own the organization's FP&A process; monthly financial and impact forecasting and reporting, annual budgeting, and refinement and visibility of our impact, financial and HR KPIs.  
  • Business Operations:  Serve as leader running the day-to-day infrastructure of Samasource, including oversight of global back office operations, legal and statutory requirements of our subsidiary companies, and provide primary sales operations and development (donor) operations support.
  • Ad-hoc strategic and operational projects such as new business line planning, internal process automation,  new service vendor qualifications.

Your Profile:

  • Demonstrated financial and operations experience with at least 5 years of working at the equivalent of manager level 
  • Exceptional analytical and abstract reasoning skills
  • Experience with senior executives and working with international teams  
  • Highly collaborative - you understand how to coach and motivate people around, under, and above you
  • Highly organized and detail-oriented
  • Low ego, unflinching integrity and sincere passion for our mission of improving the lives of the least fortunate across the world
  • At least a BS, or equivalent. CPA or MBA preferred.
  • High growth tech and / or professional services experience highly preferred
