Job Summary:

Samaschool is embarking on an exciting year of national growth and thought leadership. We are looking for a dynamic Marketing Manager who will amplify our work and help us tell our story in a powerful way. This person will be responsible for messaging, brand partnerships, content creation, and creative storytelling around our model and thought leadership work. The goal of these activities is to position Samaschool as the go-to provider ad thought leader on the future of independent work and force for change in workforce strategy and policy.



PR & Speaking

  • Manage PR agency and partner with the agency to development a communication strategy
  • Work with agency to proactively reach out / pitch to reporters
  • Develop messaging for new audiences: business, consumers, policy/advocacy
  • Implement messaging across owned channels (e.g. website, collateral, keynote presentations etc.)
  • Prepare materials for announcements regarding new partnerships and data findings


Content and Channels

  • Work with the team to develop go-to-market and content for campaigns that support scale and thought leadership
  • Develop and maintain editorial calendar, including authoring and/or coordinating with the team to produce 1-2 blogs per month
  • Manage and grow social media channels and presence


Brand Partnerships

  • Develop and execute a strategy for brand partnerships (this includes owned events and/or engaging in joint PR activities)


Desired Skills:

  • 3-5 years of marketing experience or a related role
  • Willingness to roll up your sleeves and a master at multitasking
  • Equal parts planning and execution
  • Excellent project management skills
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Knack for storytelling and content creation for all channels including web and social channels
  • Strong analytical skills to measure performance and evaluate ROI
