Job Summary

Reporting to the Director of Business Development & Advisory Services, the Advisory Services intern will assist with updating and maintaining processes and tools such as the pipeline dashboard to assist with the implementation of sales strategies and coordination of Advisory offerings for Samasource. These plans will support both long-term growth and immediate-term revenue. The internship includes developing deep consumer insights, driving positioning strategies, and working closely with the Director to ensure successful execution and delivery against revenue and customer goals. The team you work with is fun, flexible and willing to accommodate your growth interests. We will work with your university to provide college credit. You will:

  • Perform sales research on corporations, foundation, and nonprofits who may be good candidates for our various Advisory offerings.  Track competitors and their offering/positioning.
  • Maintain the pipeline and forecast dashboard updated
  • Maintain and cleaning Salesforce records, including converting contacts to leads, and producing bi-weekly reports of lead conversion by lead source, to assist in informing forecast strategy
  • Assist in informing strategy on buyer profile and targeting
  • Assist in templatizing offerings and sales cycle processes
  • Manage the production and availability of marketing collateral and website content and updates, including assisting in coordination on digital marketing campaigns and tracking/reporting with our agency.
  • Assist in collateral creation, including building case studies of past Advisory projects.
  • If appropriate/ of interest, work closely with the Director to execute high-impact campaigns to drive sales.

  • If of interest, prepare blog posts.
  • Identify conferences, meetups, events, etc. of interest and apply for high visibility speaking slots.

Qualifications and Skills


  • ​A willingness to roll up your sleeves and a master at multi-tasking, must be able to plan and execute
  • Excellent project management skills
 • Excellent analytical skills, including Excel dashboard creation, creation of relevant pivot tables and charts
 to support decision-making
  • Excellent capabilities with Salesforce
  • Ability to research and identify potential competitors within the B2B marketplace
  • Authorized to work in the USA
