Samasource HQ is in San Francisco, CA with international HQ in Nairobi, Kenya. This position will be located in San Francisco, CA.

Responsibilities and Duties

We are looking for a driven, self-motivated Sales Director, who will work in tandem with our Head Senior Director of Global Sales to bring in new logos and grow top strategic accounts.

Ideal candidates should have a background in tech sales, a disciplined approach to prospecting and to account growth, and a polished, professional presence in leading meetings with top executives of Fortune 100 companies. 


  • Responsible for the full sales cycle, from prospecting to close
  • Understand the client’s business goals, anticipate future needs and help determine ideal solutions. Manage expectations at all levels and attend and direct client meetings.
  • Demonstrate a consultative approach in addressing client needs.
  • Work cross functionally with Marketing, Product and Professional Services teams to ensure campaign success and communication.
  • Map client organizations and build relationships with multiple contacts focusing on decision-maker
  • Develop account plan and account based strategy for named accounts
  • Achieve & exceed quarterly sales quota
  • Build and maintain sufficient pipeline to meet quota
  • Updates sales activity and movement in on a regular basis


Skills Required:

  • BA/BS in Marketing, Business Administration, Economics, or similar background
  • 6 years + of quota carrying enterprise sales experience, preferably in consulting or outsourcing services or software sales
  • Track record of exceeding quota and comfort with closing deals over $100K
  • Demonstrated strategic selling skills, negotiation and account planning experience
  • Confidence with executive level outreach
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Prospecting and research skills
  • Proficiency with Excel, Powerpoint, Salesforce
  • Ability to relate and great sense of humor
  • Experience selling machine learning/artificial intelligence related services or technology a plus
  • Must be eligible to work in the U.S.
  • Ability to travel up to 25% of the time
